Every month Marin homes are traded off-market and I am often asked what are the advantages of selling a home this way.  Here are a few reasons to consider:

Just Sold in Novato for $2,850,000

This is the 5th time I have helped these clients buy or sell homes and I really enjoy working with them every time!

A fully remodeled Novato home is rarely available for an estate of this size (5750 sq ft).  Since there weren’t very many comps to compare it to, I invited several trusted and knowledgeable colleagues to give me their pricing opinions.  After taking their guidance into account I quickly created a pricing and marketing plan.  Getting people through the front door would be key to selling this one-of-a-kind property.  I implemented a very thorough marketing strategy which included being a featured property in the NY Times Column “What You Get In California” (see below).

Just Sold in San Rafael for $1,960,000

This couple rented an apartment with water views in Tiburon and decided they wanted to buy but weren’t sure if they could afford to maintain water views.

We pounded the pavement together as I educated them about different neighborhoods and locations. A seller didn’t accept their pre-emptive offer on a home without a water view but things happen for a reason because the next week a house in their favorite neighborhood on a lagoon with a water view came available. It was their dream home! We prevailed with multiple offers!
